Mission & Philosophy

Temple Judea Preschool, the only conservative, Jewish Early Childhood program in
Lee County. TJP believes in the development of the whole child. Our philosophy is to
recognize each child as a unique individual. Each child is nurtured and cared for in a
loving atmosphere, allowing them to progress according to his/her rate of development.
A safe environment is provided that reinforces a child’s natural curiosity and allows
each child to experience challenges and successes. Individual children are exposed
to a variety of age appropriate learning activities to meet each child’s social, intellectual
and emotional development.

This will promote positive self – esteem cooperation, self control and independence.
Our school fulfills this goal through carefully planned programs developed by a trained,
caring staff. A close rapport between the staff and parents contribute to achieving this
goal. Parents and teachers gain valuable insights and techniques from each other and
at the same time share their talents and interests to maintain the excellent quality at
Temple Judea Preschool. School then becomes a shared experience which we hope
will continue throughout each child’s educational process.
