About Hazzan / Cantor Andrés Levy

Cantor Andres Levy was born in Chile and now he lives in Buenos Aires.

Architect by profession, with several post degrees and master degrees in architecture, he is a Cantor graduate from the Bet Asaf School of Cantors of the Latin Rabbinical Seminary of Buenos Aires. He also revalidated his degree in the JTS, in the Cantorial School, and as a consequence of this, he is member of the Cantors Assembly.

Full Chazzan in several congregations in Argentina and Chile, since 1990, He was for the last 22 years High Holidays Cantor in Florida, North Carolina, California, Texas and Michigan. Also as an international Jewish singer. He performed concerts of Jewish and international music in South America, Europe, Israel and the United States.

With a BA degree in music, (arrangement, composition and conducting), he is a pianist concert, as well as a drummer, guitarist, bass guitarist, percussion, multi music instrumentalist. As well, he is a musical producer. He produced several shows and albums and Cds, being ZOCHRIM-REMEMBERING, his latest work.
